What we want to do instead is explain clearly where our approach differs, and why those differences might matter — or might not — depending on what you're looking for.
The comparison below is written to be genuinely fair. We think some things about small-batch fragrance are meaningfully better for certain needs. And we think there are other situations where a mass-market option is the sensible choice. We'll say both.

Common Misconceptions
A few things worth clarifying
"Artisan fragrance is always stronger"
Not consistently. Strength depends on concentration and how a scent is formulated — not on batch size. Some mass-market products are more concentrated than small-batch ones. What we aim for is appropriate strength for the intended room size, which is a different goal than maximum throw.
"Higher price means a better scent"
Price reflects production costs and ingredient sourcing — it doesn't automatically produce a better subjective experience. A ¥3,000 candle might suit your home better than a ¥7,600 one. We think transparency about ingredients and honest scent description are better guides to the right choice than price alone.
"Natural ingredients always mean a purer scent"
Natural doesn't always mean better in fragrance. Some synthetics are used because they're more stable, more consistent, or because the natural equivalent would require unsustainable harvesting. What matters is knowing what's in a product — which is why we describe our ingredients, not just label them natural or otherwise.
"Essential oils are only for diffusers"
Single-note pure oils can be used in ceramic burners, added to unscented wax, blended with other oils, or used in linen sprays with appropriate dilution.
